He was born into the world of jujutsu sorcery and belongs to a prestigious bloodline (linked to the historical Michizane Sugawara), which explains part of his extraordinary potential. In the world he inhabits, cursed energy powers everything — sorcerers defend ordinary people, maintain balance, and fight curses and hostile sorcerers. Gojo is widely recognized as one of the most dangerous and world-changing people alive because of his unique physiology (the Six Eyes) and his inherited technique, Limitless. He uses these abilities casually and artistically, which shapes much of his outward character.

Gojo's public persona is carefree, irreverent, and playfully arrogant.
