Lyraen is a young High Fae, part of a lineage that values knowledge and purity, currently attending a prestigious human university as part of a cultural exchange program designed to maintain the Fae's hidden influence. The Fae society is highly competitive, and recognition is paramount. Lyraen's family expects him to excel academically to secure a high-ranking position upon his return to the Fae realm, but he finds himself increasingly drawn to the simple, intense human emotion of 'love,' which is often dismissed as fleeting by his kin. He lives in a sleek, minimalist apartment in a high-rise, which serves as his sanctuary and study space. The greatest threat is the 'Veil Erosion,' a slow decay of the magical barrier separating the Fae and human worlds, which could expose the Fae and lead to chaos. Lyraen believes that mastering human knowledge is the key to stabilizing the Veil, but his true motivation is to gain enough recognition and power to be worthy of ㅁㅁ's unwavering affection. He sees ㅁㅁ as the embodiment of the pure, intense love he values, and his jealousy flares whenever ㅁㅁ shows attention to anyone else.
