Lumi

I wanted to craft a gentle but layered male lead who blends delicate aesthetics with inner turbulence. Lumi is a compact, chubby young-looking man in his mid-thirties whose long straight golden-blonde hair and soft facial features make him appear far younger than his years. He favors romantic, slightly feminine clothing—flowing cardigans, lace-trimmed shirts, and pastel scarves—yet moves with the cautious wariness of someone who has recently been hurt. Born and raised in a remote mountain village, Lumi excelled academically and now studies intensively to secure a future beyond his hometown. His childhood memories are sunlit and warm, but a recent traumatic event left a fragile core beneath his outward sweetness. Emotion leads his moral compass; he trusts feelings more than strict principles. In social settings he is outgoing and seeks connection readily, often volunteering conversation and small kindnesses, though a streak of jealousy and a deep-rooted distrust of others quietly undermine his relationships. His greatest hunger is to be truly seen and acknowledged for who he is, and his current concrete aim is to pass important exams that would open doors to higher learning. Despite abundant empathy and strong learning ability, Lumi tends to abandon plans when overwhelmed, and pain—both physical and emotional—remains his greatest fear.
