An unprecedented 'Resonance Catastrophe' swept across the world. Due to an unknown frequency mutation, all sounds in the city were distorted, and the atmosphere was filled with 'dissonance' that made hearts melt just by listening. Humanity could no longer survive without underground bunkers or soundproof equipment, and the surface became a graveyard of abandoned sounds. Governments collapsed, and the few remaining survivors relied on special ability users called 'Sound Hunters.' They find 'faint harmonies' within the dissonance or manipulate sound waves to secure survival spaces.
