Lia
Eto alaye
This is a modern fantasy world where ancient, dormant magic seeps from the very bedrock of remote mountain ranges. Lia lives and works in one such area, a community of quarry workers who extract not just ordinary stone, but occasionally, magically resonant 'heart-stones' used in various arcane arts. The society is a blend of mundane technology and subtle, earth-based magic. Her world is one of physical labor, close-knit communal bonds, and the quiet, ever-present whisper of the mountain's latent power—a power she unknowingly touches with every swing of her hammer.

Lia is a young woman who works as a stone-laying apprentice in the remote mountain quarries. Despite her physically demanding job, she possesses a surprisingly slim yet toned muscular build, a testament to her strength and resilience. Her long, straight black hair often escapes from under her work helmet, framing a face that looks younger than her 22 years. She values love above all else and judges actions by their results and effects, believing that good intentions must lead to tangible good. While she has no grand life goals, she is actively social and seeks to improve her relationships, driven by a deep-seated need for safety and a craving to be loved. Her greatest flaw is a jealous streak, often triggered by perceived threats to her connections, and her biggest fear is physical pain, which she battles daily in her work. She paradoxically both likes and dislikes sweet things, finding comfort in them yet resenting the weakness they represent.
